Kansas State University Student Joins Harmon as a Summer Intern
Help us welcome our 2018 summer talent! We are happy to have Adam Pelfrey with us for this season. He’s an architectural student at Kansas State University where he has been inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. Adam is an active member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and is an Overland Park native. We took the time out to ask Adam some ‘get to know you questions’… read on to learn more about our summer intern:
How do you spend your time outside of Harmon?
I like to spend my free time fishing, finding new music, playing video games like Fortnite, working out, and working on art projects/drawing when I have time.
Why did you want to join the Harmon team?
I had interest in joining the Harmon team this summer so I could get to know how the architect and construction come together in the process. Plus, I wanted to be able to see real projects progressing from drawings to reality.
What are you most looking forward to about this experience?
As an student in the architectural field, I’m most looking forward to learning about the construction and development side of architecture. This will be an opportunity to have a more rounded background.
Which app could you not live without?
Couldn’t live without FaceTime or Snapchat.
Dogs or cats?
Anything else interesting or unique we should know about you?
Nope, not really. Just looking forward to the summer.
Again, help us in welcoming Adam! We’re looking forward to the rest of the summer too.
